Just checking in to see how you all are doing today. I know these days can be trying. It is tough to quarantine, self-distance, be away from our loved ones, remember to mask up and try to remain calm when we are in public and others don't seem to get the whole pandemic thing, right? I mean how hard is it to remain 6 feet away from me in a store, and wear a mask? This isn't the first week this has been a problem. We all should be vigilant for one another, right?
I miss my family dinners with my siblings. I miss hugging my daughters and my grands. I miss just hanging out with my friends. But for now, this is all very real. Just look at the statistics and that should wake up a lot of people. This is no joke. I will trudge through and text and talk until I am blue in the face if it keeps us all safe. It is my responsibility to help others out just as it is theirs to be vigilant for others. So, all I am asking, is do the right thing...mask up, remain 6 feet away in public, smile through your eyes, and say a prayer for relief.
This too shall pass. But in the meantime-we are all in this together...you, me, your neighbors, our families, let's try to remember the greater good. And above all- rely on God. He holds the answers, this is just a lesson in humility to bring us back to Him. We are learning some very valuable lessons, aren't we? We appreciate what we once took for granted, we are spending much needed time with our families, we are slowing down. Now, look up, and say a prayer of thanks for what is to come. He is a Miracle worker and He will cure this virus-believe.
God bless, be at peace and stay safe.
