We are in this together!

Since March life has changed quite a bit for all of us. Our jobs have protocols, our homes are our safe haven, there is social distancing and much to do about wearing a mask in public. Where do you stand on all of this? Are you a diehard fanatic? Or you a passive...I only wear a mask when I am pressured to do so or are you a stay at home self-quarantining nester? We all are doing the best we can each day.

I feel the frustration in the air. At work people are masking up and showing up. We are a community of socially aware and conscious workers who respect each other daily. I am proud of the way my co-workers are handling the stress. We are all just plugging away doing our jobs and watching out for one another.

At home, there is a lot of hand-washing, and Germ-X to go along with our daily routine of to work and back home. Mask in the house and when we leave the house. Once we're in the door, we remove our mask and go on about our business. Still aware of the essential need to hand wash frequently and stay free of face touching. It's all a new normal, becoming more normal each day and less stressful as the days turn into months.

I hope everyone is still taking the precautions seriously, masking up, and social distancing...this really isn't about individual rights, we need to care for and respect one another during this pandemic. It isn't too difficult to wear a mask if you are out in public, wash your hands and try not to touch your face. It's just a few precautions that can save lives and keep each other safer. Isn't that what we are really all about in the world? We are in this together...let's show some respect and take care of one another.
